Alphasolar: Dankoff Flowlight Booster Pump

Flowlight Booster pumps are designed to provide 3 to 4.5 gpm (10 1pm) at pressures as high as 65 PSI (4.5 kg/sq. cm) from shallow water sources; making them a low cost alternative to elevated tank installations. Flowlight Booster pumps feature positive displacement, rotary vane mechanisms made of forged brass, carbon graphite and stainless steel driven by a permanent magnet ball bearing DC motor. These units will survive most freezes, and are NSF approved for drinking water. These pumps use less than half the energy of conventional AC pumps and eliminate the high starting currents that stress inverters. Flowlight Booster pumps come with 3 feet of clear 3/4 inch flexible hosing and relief valve. Wearing parts are field replaceable with a typical cycle life of 5 to 10 years. An optional easy installation kit is available (See Booster Pump Accessories.) Overall life expectancy is 15 to 20 years. This series of pumps requires an in-line filter. One year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
