Smart Power M5 - 5 kw Grid-Tied Battery Backup power conversion system

The new Smart power M5 is a 5-kw inverter system designed for use in
grid-connected solar power applications, and addresses the needs of customers
who have concerns about the stability and reliability of the electrical grid.
The Smart Power M5 immediately converts to an independent battery back-up
when the grid power fails, continuing to provide power to critical circuit loads
for hours.
Unlike straight grid-tied systems, it also allows you to continue drawing from the
solar electric panels during daytime grid power failures. With a peak rating of 93%,
the M5's efficiency is the highest in it's class.

The Smart Power M5 is a fully integrated system that includes inverter, battery charge controller with MPPT, switchgear and ground fault protection in one convenient outdoor rated unit, making it the most compact, easy to install efficient
product in it's catagory.
A few simple accessories are all that’s needed to build a complete PV power conversion system.
The M5 is field-tested, UL approved, CEC and NYPSC-listed, and ready for immediate delivery with a 5 year warranty.

The Smart Power Monitor is a PC-based program for monitoring the status and performance of your Smart Power M5. It provides the following features all easily accessible on a user-friendly Windows program.

The 12-input string combiner provides a safe means of combining the power output from multiple photovoltaic (PV) modules to the charge controller/inverter system. The combiner supplies the required fuse protection as well as terminal blocks for connecting wires from each string of PV modules.
