The Xantrex DR Inverter/Charger is a great choice for solar panels and provides dependable modified sine wave power for businesses, homes and workshops. Available in 1500, 2400 or 3600 watt models, it can power most common electrical appliances such as lights, televisions, cash registers, refrigerators, washing machines, computers, and power tools. The DR’s high surge capacity gives it the ability to start difficult motor loads. Once set up, all functions of the inverter/charger are fully automatic.

Ideal for alternative energy applications. Trace DR-series inverters are the choice of alternative-energy applications. They're versatile and have an extremely low idle power. Even when search mode is deactivated, the idle power for DR-series inverters is less than 8 watts. Expandability offers more power. Load capacity can be doubled by "stacking" a second inverter, using a simple stacking cable kit (DRI). Connected in series, a pair of DR inverters produces both 120 and 240 VAC power - enough for tough household loads like deep well pumps or heavy power tools.
DR inverters come in export voltages of 230 VAC 50 Hz, 105 VAC 50 Hz, and 105 VAC 60 Hz. European voltage inverters are presently not stackable, but both export and domestic multiple inverters may be connected to a single battery bank to increase AC power available to separate loads.

Options make the DR perfect for whatever. A battery temperature sensor (BTS) ensures more precise battery charging. With a wall-mountable remote control panel (RC8) the inverter can be controlled from a convenient location. And a conduit box (DRCB) covers DC input wires.
Engineered for safety, simplicity. The DR series is ETL listed to UL and CSA specifications (they also carry CE approval) and are easy to install. All AC wiring terminates inside the chassis, while DC connections are housed in color-coded plastic caps.
