Xantrex SW Grid Tie Inverter

Xantrex Technology Inc. has introduced higher power models of its new SW Plus Inverter/Charger
line for off-grid and backup renewable power applications. New 4000 and 5500 watt models of the SW Plus are available now.
Designed to provide homes with a completely independent power supply, the SW Plus 2500, 4000
and 5500 watt models combine an inverter, battery charger and dual transfer switch in one package.
The SW Plus provides pure sine wave AC power for household appliances and DC power to charge
batteries. As part of an off-grid renewable power system, it converts all forms of renewable energy
into utility grade household power. With its high surge capacity, the SW Plus can start high power
loads such as deep well pumps and compressors.

A “Smart Energy Management” system controls
utility and/or generator usage. Non-volatile memory means that you will only save your personalized settings once, and our new silent mode will turn off the battery charger once the charge cycle is complete for longer battery life.

Features include forced air cooling, multi-stage charging, control panel and a battery temperature sensor. SW Plus Inverter/Chargers meet FCC Part B specifications, which means there is less chance of noise and interference when powering radio and telecommunications equipment, and are CSA listed to UL 1741.
The Sine Wave Interface (SWI) can be used to stack two SW Plus units for double the power output. The new SWs also have nonvolatile memory so customized settings do not have to be reset following a loss of DC power and for quicker, simpler and cleaner installations the units have improved wiring access.

Generator Start Module used to control either two and three wire start generators
Auxiliary Load Module used to automatically start and stop auxiliary DC loads such as fans based on programmable voltage parameters
Inverter Communications Adapter allows for remote connection to SW Plus via PC
An additional Inverter Control Module (ICM built-in to SW Plus) may be installed for remote operation and monitoring of inverter/charger
